I am C.J. (Cindy) Thomas the leader of Sharing the Light Ministries. My greatest joy is to teach Christians how to enter into God’s presence, how to worship Him and how to intercede for the world. Sharing The Light Ministries is a unique apostolic-prophetic intercessory prayer ministry. Our mission is to teach and train Christians how to minister in their holy calling as a royal priesthood, king-priests, unto our Lord. Did You Know You Have A Holy Call?
Yes, God in His infinite wisdom has given you a holy calling! This calling is our destiny found in 1 Peter 2:9. We are kings and priests, a royal priesthood, unto God. As New Testament king-priests, we offer prayers declaring the excellence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We follow His model prayer directive known as the Lord’s Prayer. We combine it with the types or shadow pictures in the Tabernacle of Moses, which testify of Jesus in every phase of His life and ministry. This correlation brings forth a powerful prayer that crosses denominational barriers and enables us to become one in our prayers, thanksgiving, praise, and worship! We can fulfill the prayer of Jesus in John 17:21, that we become one and fulfill our holy calling!

Remove the Veil
The revelation we are about to tell you has been hidden for centuries. Before discovering God’s will for your life and destiny, we pray that God opens your mind and perfects your understanding. He said that in the last days, knowledge would be increased, and it has. However, let us look into the Holy Word to find out why we have not seen this calling before:
“But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart.” (2 Corinthians 3:14-15)
The apostle Paul says that a veil blinded the minds of people who would read the Old Testament. He also said that even when the writings of Moses are read today, there is a veil over the readers’ hearts. The word “veil” means to conceal, so Paul was saying that there are many hidden things in the readings of the Old Testament and Moses.
Ask God to remove the veil so you can understand the hidden truths within the Tabernacle of Moses. Jesus expressed how important the writings of Moses are in this next scripture:
“For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?” (John 5:46-47)
Jesus was saying that if you do not believe what Moses wrote about Him, you would not believe what He has to say. This is a powerful statement expressing the importance of the writings of Moses. If you do not believe that Moses wrote the story of the life, death, burial, resurrection, and glorification of Jesus Christ, you would not believe what Jesus has to tell you.
Awakening
Jesus has adopted every Christian into His Jewish family, but we know very little about this beautiful heritage. It is as if He has been adopted into our family instead of us being adopted into His.
Another important aspect of Christianity is to rightly divide the Word of God. This cannot be done without revelation, knowledge, and an understanding of Jewish customs. Hidden within the imagery of Jewish culture are divine wisdom, the magnitude of God’s love, and our holy calling.
We should embrace our Jewish roots and accept our Jewish heritage to become king-priests praying for the peace of Jerusalem and humanity. In this way, we facilitate the culmination of God’s desires for mankind.
Your Royal Priesthood, Your Holy Calling
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” (1 Peter 2:9)
We have read, quoted, and sang this powerful passage for years without understanding its importance. It holds the key to ushering in God’s glory and culminating all things He has purposed for mankind. Even more astounding is how YOU are the key to this scripture. In the Old Testament, it was the high priest’s duty to come into the presence of God alone, yet he did this on behalf of all men. Today, you have been entrusted with the same power and responsibility.
Revelation 1:5-6 says that Jesus, as the “prince of the kings of the earth,” has made us kings and priests unto God. This calling is not optional. As a child of God washed by the blood of Jesus, you have been made a king and priest. Whether you are part of the five-fold ministry or a new convert, the first call of God upon your life involves being a king and priest unto Him.
The most surprising aspect of this holy call is that most of us have never been taught the functions or duties of kings and priests. As kings, we declare and decree the Word of God, live like royalty, and reign with dominion, authority, and power. As priests, we are God’s ministers who offer spiritual sacrifices of prayer, thanksgiving, praise, and worship unto our Lord. We pray for all men, worship the Lord in spirit and truth, and manifest His presence.
Jesus is the ultimate King-Priest and Prophet of God. We need to become like Him, as His manifested sons of God, made in His image and likeness. Now is the time to obey God’s will and answer our holy calling. By becoming the “One New Man”, united in our king-priest ministry, we perfect the saints, bring in the end-time harvest of souls, and fulfill God’s desire upon the earth.
